KELA station manager, Greg Dourian, actually thinks he can threaten King Chuck.
On June 20, 2013, I sent him the following e-mail:
“I just updated my web site. And I've got plenty more as time permits.
“It's only a matter of time before Panesko leaves his mansion up on the hill and I or somebody else asks him about his abortion. His hypocrisy will be exposed.
“And I'm working on another bombshell that should be coming out soon.
“Is John Panesko really the type of guy you want representing your radio station?”
Dourian responded:
“Chuck,
“I've asked you before to please not email me your babble. It is viewed as harassment, and I will take legal action against you if you do not stop. Again, let me be clear: I will take legal action against you if you don't immediately cease and desist emailing me, or any member of our staff.
“Guide yourself accordingly.”
I replied:
“Let's be clear.
“You are the station manager.
“I have every right to complain about your programming.
“You want to take legal action against me for complaining about your programming, GO FOR IT!
“I'm sure The Chronicle will find a little space for it in their fine newspaper.”
But Dourian really believes he can scare me. He responded:
“Chuck,
“In your words, let's be clear: I have a file on you of continuous emails all spouting hatred toward John Panesko. I have asked you before to stop emailing, and yet you continue. The law is very clear that once I have asked, it is incumbent upon you to stop. If you don't, it's considered harassment- period. You need to cease and desist immediately.”
Well, alrighty then.
If Dourian wants to make these e-mails about Panesko’s hypocrisy on abortions public, that’s fine with me. I’d luv it. At some point, Panesko’s rightwingwacko fans will realize what a hypocrite their hero is.
